Folks: First, I?d like to apologize for the delay in offering the Series 25 exclusive Biker Chick figure. We did promise it would be available beginning March 3 and it?s not; we take our commitments seriously, but this situation is out of our hands.
Here?s what happened: Our off-site ecommerce hosting company is not able to handle the bandwidth our fans are putting on their servers. It?s not only crashing our ecommerce store, but everyone else on that server. It just so happens that the problem was noticed at the same time the new exclusive was about to be offered (this morning).
We?ve basically had to drop back and punt to a degree. This will necessitate a change of ecommerce dedicated servers to handle the bandwidth you folks are creating. We are making every effort to have the change done as quickly as possible and hope to have the product to offer during the week of March 8, 2004.
I understand that this is frustrating for you and it?s very frustrating for us as well. As a gesture of our appreciation for your continued patronage ? and your patience ? we?ll be throwing a little something extra into all the Biker Chick packages once they?re ready to ship.
Again, the delay is out of our hands, but we do apologize.

That's real cute. From the way it looks, they've known about it for a few days and are just now trying to fix it from reading Dion's post. That DOES seem like they dropped the ball on that one.. Especially their ecommerce.. If they knew about this ahead of time, why did they wait until TODAY to fix it.. Give em hell Dion, is all I gotta say.
So is anyone going to be able to inform chaserfan that he gets a shot at it next week?

Yup. I'll let him know when I see him Saturday that Biker chick has been postponed until the 8th at least so they can change servers and that something extra is being added to each shipment for the "trouble".
